We enjoyed a comfortable stay at Carterco Rooms with a spacious layout and lovely decor. Despite the hard pillows, the cleanliness and easy self-check-in made our visit pleasant. Be mindful of the noise from other guests, but the location near Southsea was perfect for our family outing.

Not so soundproof nights
The room was beautifully decorated, providing a cozy atmosphere. I enjoyed a comfy bed and appreciated the secure entry.
Noise from the bar below was disruptive. I struggled to sleep due to loud music and voices.

i recently stayed at carterco rooms for 2 nights and loved it! the deluxe family room was clean and cozy, with a large sofa bed perfect for chilling. it’s located on a nice quiet road, not far from the sea, which was fantastic. the key code entry was super easy too! the warm service I received from jody was memorable, especially when she called to personally apologize for the restaurant mix-up during my last visit.

The location stood out. Close to Old Portsmouth and the seafront. The room felt modern and sleek. I appreciated the cleanliness and the little details, like the tea and coffee facilities. The comfortable duvet added to my enjoyment. there were notable downsides. No late check-out options, which felt limiting. I had to leave my mobile phone charger behind, and despite assurances, retrieving it was a hassle. Basic room amenities like a hairdryer were missing, and the shower gel wasn’t restocked. The self-service concept was nice but could use more attention to detail. I found the stairs quite steep, making accessibility a concern.
